Different herbs have various energetic properties and can balance certain body disharmonies. Prescribing a specific herb or herbal mixture requires the practitioner to understand the patient’s state of disharmony, Yin and Yang balance, and the disease pattern affecting the organs. Because countless combinations can be made from several hundred different herbs, the practitioner must be skilled in their craft.
